TV Alerj is one of the vehicles for disclosure and transparency of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro and shows 24 hours of programming daily on the Net, through the Alerj website, ABS-3A satellite.

Aimed at showing the work of parliamentarians, TV Alerj prioritizes the live broadcast of ordinary, extraordinary and solemn sessions in plenary; public hearings of permanent, temporary and CPI commissions; in addition to monitoring and publicizing the meetings of the Board of Directors and the College of Leaders.

TV Alerj also broadcasts interviews and debates recorded in the studio, cultural programs and documentaries produced by professionals from the broadcaster. The channel aims to show a program that brings parliamentarians closer to the citizens of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
