DMCA Policy
Last updated: Aug 18, 2026
LiveTV ("we," "us," "the Site") is a directory of publicly available FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channels. We do not host, store, capture, re-encode, or transmit any video content from our own servers. All streams listed on LiveTV link to or embed content made publicly available by the broadcaster itself, or distributed through the broadcaster's own official channel on a third-party platform (such as YouTube or Twitch), in accordance with that platform's Terms of Service.
Because LiveTV does not host content, we are not in a position to remove video files directly - we can only remove or disable a listing (a link or embed) that points to content elsewhere. We take copyright seriously and respond promptly to valid reports under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable international copyright law.
How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on a copyright owner's behalf, and believe a listing on LiveTV links to or embeds content that infringes your copyright, submit a notice via Contact or to support@live-tv-channels.org containing the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (title, channel name, or a description sufficient to identify it).
- The exact LiveTV URL(s) where the listing appears - not the broadcaster's own site, but the specific page on liveTV.
- Your contact information - name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
Notices missing any of these elements may not be actionable under the DMCA and could delay processing.
What Happens Next
- We review each notice for completeness and validity.
- Valid notices are acted on within 48 hours - typically by disabling or removing the listing.
- We may notify the broadcaster or source of the takedown, where applicable.
- Repeat sources of infringing listings may be permanently removed from the directory.
Counter-Notification
If you believe a listing was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice via Contact including:
- Identification of the listing removed and its location on the Site prior to removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the listing was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may reinstate the listing within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order.
Voluntary Removal for Broadcasters
You do not need to file a formal DMCA notice to have your channel removed. If you are the broadcaster and simply want your channel delisted from LiveTV - for any reason - contact us via Contact or Submit a Channel and we will remove the listing, typically within 48 hours, no copyright claim required.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, LiveTV will, in appropriate circumstances, remove listings linking to sources with a pattern of copyright infringement.
Limitations
This policy addresses listings on LiveTV only. Because we do not host content, we cannot remove or alter video files hosted on third-party platforms or a broadcaster's own infrastructure - such requests must be directed to the platform or broadcaster hosting the content directly.
