ITC TV, short for Iranian Television Canada (تلویزیون ایرانیان کانادا), is a Persian-language channel for Iranian and Farsi-speaking viewers across North America. You can follow the channel on satellite, the website, phone apps and Smart TV.
What ITC TV airs
The channel is run by ITC TV MEDIA INC. out of Toronto, with a business address in Richmond Hill, Ontario. The company describes itself as having more than 30 years of video production and TV operation behind it.
Programming covers news, community shows, talk shows, entertainment, science and culture segments, and sports. One standout is Yek Fanjān Chāy, which means "one cup of tea". It is a social reality show about everyday life, aimed at viewers of different ages.
The editorial focus leans practical: settlement information, job opportunities and community life. In 2023, ITC announced a restructuring under new management, with plans to raise production quality and add more science, entertainment and sports content.
Who the channel is for
The core audience is Iranians, Farsi speakers and diaspora communities in Canada, the US and beyond. A smaller group is Canadians curious about Iranian culture and community life.
The pitch is simple. Content in the mother tongue, plus useful information for newcomers. ITC TV puts weight on producing for the Iranian community in Canada rather than only airing imported entertainment.
Ways to watch
The channel runs as a 24/7 satellite service. Beyond that, ITC states the channel is distributed on smartphones, iPhone and Android apps, Smart TVs and IP boxes in Canada and the US. The official website has a Live Streaming section, and the channel also shows up in the Sedaye Iran live TV directory.
Stream quality will feel different from one viewer to the next, so a quick try is the best test.
