HISTORY
The first broadcasts start from the studios in Naples, in the heart of Vomero, in Piazza Vanvitelli in April 1978. In 1980 he moved a few steps into the new studios via Enrico Alvino. Today a completely pedestrianized area.
DIGITAL TERRESTRIAL
Digital terrestrial television (DVB-T) was activated in the Campania region on December 16, 2009. Digital terrestrial television has transformed ever-present television into a new richer and more complete television, a television even more than all, yet more for everyone, the only door accessible no longer just for a few or only for those who can afford it. In 2022, the system will be upgraded to DVB-T2 with more compressed but higher quality coding.
TELEVOMERO numbers
The plants active in the provinces of Naples and Caserta cover a population of approximately 4,000,000 inhabitants. Our programs are visible on the TELEVOMERO channel at number 11 of the remote control in the provinces of NAPLES and CASERTA and on TELEVOMERO 2, which partially repeats the daily programming visible on number 211 in the CAMPANIA region. The audience figures attest the broadcaster on an average of over 250,000 daily contacts with an average audience of over 4,000 daily viewers.
