It was founded in December 2005 by Marco Ferri, a media professional with extensive experience at the national broadcaster Mediaset. Starting as a modest project with limited resources, FanoTV has grown significantly, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024.
Today, FanoTV is run as a cooperative consisting of nine members from the business, volunteer, and civil society sectors. The channel broadcasts in HD on Channel 19 of the digital terrestrial television (DTT) platform, covering the entire Marche region.
