Prag News is the oldest and most trusted Assamese-language news television channel in Assam and Northeast India. It was founded on March 4, 2001, in Guwahati as a cable TV channel and later grew into a 24/7 satellite news broadcaster. The channel is owned by A M Television Private Limited, also known as Prag Network.
With more than twenty years of continuous operation, Prag News is recognized as the first regional news channel in Northeast India.
