RTB, the leading media group in Burkina Faso. La Radiodiffusion Télévision du Burkina is the public broadcasting and television company in Burkina Faso.
Resulting from the regrouping of the Radio broadcasting of Burkina Faso and the first national channel of French-speaking Africa named Volta Vision, Radio broadcasting Television of Burkina is born in 1999.
RTB is a general public television channel which is directed by the Public Establishment of State. Its head office is located in the capital of Burkina Faso which is Ouagadougou. It is broadcast live on terrestrial television and on the internet.
This African channel broadcasts television news in French. But generally, the news flashes are in the national language like Lobiri, Bwamu, Gulmancéma as well as Bissa. RTB offers a program schedule with numerous magazines on sport, the economy, culture, health, and youth.
