Ambazonia Communication Network (ACN TV) is a satellite television channel broadcasting from the Federal Republic of Ambazonia, a de facto state in Cameroon. Launched in 2020, it aims to provide news and information about Ambazonia and its independence movement.
ACN TV broadcasts a variety of content, including news reports, interviews, documentaries, and cultural programs. It seeks to inform the Ambazonian people and the international community about the ongoing conflict in Ambazonia, promote the Ambazonian struggle for independence, and provide a platform for Ambazonian voices to be heard.
ACN TV is available on the Eutelsat 3B satellite platform and can also be streamed online. It has been accused of bias towards the Ambazonian independence movement and of promoting hate speech, and the Cameroonian government has attempted to block its broadcasts in some parts of Cameroon.
Despite these challenges, ACN TV remains an important source of information and a voice for the Ambazonian people. It plays a crucial role in raising awareness about the conflict in Ambazonia and advocating for the rights of the Anglophone population.
