Peninsula TV is a 501c3 nonprofit community television station and professional video services, provider. We are supported by the County of San Mateo, the cities within the County, a number of for-profit enterprises within the County, as well as individual PenTV members.
PenTV broadcasts its television signal throughout most of San Mateo County to 260,000 households on cable networks Comcast-26, Wave-27, and AT&T U-verse-99.
Our primary mission is to produce, acquire, and broadcast programming that is both interesting and of value to the community. This includes a wide variety of shows ranging from government, to education, to kids, to lifestyles, to sports, to business.
PenTV also has significant experience and professional expertise in shooting and editing content for clients for external use, or for their internal use. PenTV has won a number of awards for our work in the video production area.
PenTV’s “reach” extends beyond San Mateo County. Some of our content is broadcast by larger public networks (i.e. KRON and KOFY in San Francisco), as well as public access stations around the Bay Area.
