9 Volna the first interactive pan-Caucasian ethnic Russian music television channel.
The concept of the channel as a television space is the unity of the many peoples living in the Caucasus, as well as the desire to acquaint residents of all regions of Russia with the culture and diversity of performers of the North Caucasus and Transcaucasia.
Initially, the television channel was conceived as a small cable channel, intended for broadcasting in nine (hence the name) cities of the North Caucasus. The starting date for broadcasting the channel is April 9, 2010, in the basic package of the satellite television operator Tricolor TV.
TV channel “9 Wave” won three times in the nomination “Music Channel” following the results of the audience voting at the Big Digital Digital Television Award, and also took part in the largest international TV show “For 3 years in a row” CSTB ".
