MTV Nordic was a pan-European cable television network that existed from 1998 to 2005. It served the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden) as well as other European territories that didn't have their own localized MTV channel.
The channel was primarily in English and featured a mix of music videos, reality shows, and other entertainment programming. Some of its most popular shows included "The Osbournes," "Jackass," and "Newlyweds."
In 2005, MTV Nordic was replaced by four separate channels, one for each Nordic country. These channels continue to operate today and offer a mix of local and international programming.
