Penedès TV is the public broadcaster of the Vilafranca del Penedès City Council, a continuation of the local television created in 1990.
Today Penedès TV broadcasts in a demarcation that includes the counties of Alt Penedès, Baix Penedès, and Garraf. It is a Penedès information channel that has about 30,000 regular viewers who have it as a reference medium. Penedès TV can be tuned through DTT channel 30 (540 MHz) and can also be watched online, live and on-demand.
The daily programming of Penedès TV is based on informative spaces that are broadcast at the right time and that have a Catalan sign language version. The programming, which includes cultural, sports, and participatory programs, gives priority to live broadcasts of sports, castles, social events, and outstanding festivities.
