Contivision, a television station aimed at promoting the regional development of Maule through communications, from a perspective that encompasses the social, political, and cultural sphere.
Television Contivision Limitada began its transmissions on December 25, 1997, with its own very reduced programming, acting most of the day as a Chilevisión repeater station. Since its inception, for this television station, its main objective was to grow in programming, technology, and coverage, always maintaining local identity, with information and content that reflect our people.
The information and the events of the Maule coast were the first things that the Mauchos saw through our signal. Contivision Noticias was the basis for many other programs that over time would join our programmatic grid. Impacto Latino, a video clip program recorded outdoors accompanied for years by the afternoons of each weekend. Sports Passion, delivered every Tuesday night the best of local sports, involving the various sports disciplines practiced in the Constitution of the 90s.
The year 2005, marked the future of Contivision, we left the studies that saw us born and we moved to our current offices, which brought with it the generation of more content. Contivision News would now air on Tuesdays and Fridays, live and replayed on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Sports passion became the star of the sport, with guests in the studio and on his own set.
We dared to make the first live broadcast from outside, coverage of the municipal elections from the different polling places in our commune made our viewers for the first time watch from the comfort of their homes how the electoral process was unfolding.
The earthquake of February 2010 finds us in a moment of full development, with a staff committed to our work project. Thanks to them, what was a catastrophe for our environment became an opportunity for us. Opportunity to get ahead, the opportunity to experience the tragedy with our people, with our viewers, opportunity to capture with our glasses a tragedy that would transcend borders and remain in history.
We did not stop, our goal was still to be a better channel, a better means of communication, a better team, and with the best technology.
In May 2011 we acquired the first HD camera, Sony PMW-EX3. This meant, once again, initiating changes. Changes in intake, edition, emission, and file.
We needed new resources, we entered a new world, something unknown to us but not impossible to master.
We started the year 2012 with a human group made up of 15 communications professionals, with a consolidated daily 120-minute morning, with sports, culture, entertainment and information programs, and with an eye toward making HD television.
2013 would be the year for Contivision, the year to consolidate our programming, the year of the great change, the year of all or nothing, the year that would define our future. This is because it is in 2013 when the most far-reaching changes that our television station has had so far have been experienced. Changes in its programming, only its own content. We would no longer be a repeater of another medium, we would only be Television Contivision. Also changes in our content and signal generation. All our production now would be in high definition, studios, terrain, and mobile.
This work of more than 16 years makes us look beyond the borders of our commune, makes us look at our environment, our region. To be able to share our work, our product, not only with the viewers of Constitución, not only with those who see us in Empedrado, Chanco, Pelluhue, and Licantén through different cable operators, not only with those who follow us on the web or by different Smartphone and Smart Tv applications. We want to become the channel of the Molinos.
