About RTPA
RTPA (Radiotelevisión del Principado de Asturias) is the public broadcasting company for the Principality of Asturias in Spain. Founded in 1981, RTPA offers a wide variety of programming on its two television channels and three radio stations, including news, current affairs, documentaries, entertainment, sports, and children's programming. RTPA also produces and broadcasts programs in Asturian, the co-official language of Asturias.
RTPA is a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Asociación de Televisiones Autonómicas (Forta). It is headquartered in Oviedo, the capital of Asturias, and its coverage area includes the entire Principality of Asturias, as well as parts of neighboring Cantabria and Galicia.
RTPA's programming is available via terrestrial, satellite, and cable television, as well as online via live streaming and on-demand content.
