Rede Brasil de Televisão (RBTV) is a Brazilian national television network known for its family-oriented content, nostalgic programming, and growing digital presence. The channel was launched on April 7, 2007, with headquarters in Campo Grande and studios in São Paulo, founded by entrepreneur Marcos Tolentino da Silva.
Initially focused on retransmitting educational content, RBTV gradually developed its own identity through original shows, news programs, and a strong lineup of classic films and television series familiar to generations of Brazilian viewers. Today, the network reaches more than 512 cities and around 40 million households across the country.
RBTV’s schedule combines news, talk shows, entertainment, classic movies, children’s programming, and anime, appealing to different age groups within the same household. Its classic film blocks and Japanese series have become key elements of the channel’s identity.
Alongside free-to-air broadcasting, RBTV has expanded into digital platforms through the RBPlay app, which offers free live streaming and on-demand content. This approach allows the network to remain accessible, multi-generational, and aligned with modern viewing habits while preserving its traditional television roots.
