About TRT Okul
TRT Okul was a temporary educational television channel launched on March 20, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in all schools in Turkey moving to distance learning. The channel broadcast school lessons for primary, secondary, and high school students through separate channels, which were supported by the digital Eğitim Bilişim Ağı (EBA) system.
TRT Okul was rebranded as TRT EBA TV on September 20, 2020, and it continues to broadcast educational programs for students of all ages. TRT EBA TV is available on terrestrial television in Turkey and on satellite and cable television in many other countries. It is also available to stream online through the TRT İzle platform.
