About Dhamma Media Channel
The Global Buddhist Network (GBN), previously known as the Dhammakaya Media Channel (DMC TV), is a Thai online television channel concerned with Buddhism. Founded in 2002, it started as a way to share Buddhist teachings with people in remote areas of Thailand.
The channel's taglines were "The secrets of life revealed" and "The only one", but these were later replaced by the more general "Channel for the path to the cessation of suffering and attainment of Dhamma," reflecting Buddhist core principles.
GBN features a variety of programs on Buddhist teachings, meditation practices, and mindfulness techniques. These programs are available in multiple languages, making the teachings accessible to a wider audience.
