About Horizon TV
The channel is geared for both Islamic and non-Islamic audience. Horizon TV is the premier Islamic television channel in Kenya. An initiative of Jamia Mosque Nairobi, we provide edutainment, educational and inspirational shows, Quran recitations, kid's shows, and inspirational Nasheeds.
Horizon Television is the first locally-oriented Islamic television channel in the country. The channel is a project of Tamaz Communications Limited, a company fully owned by Jamia Mosque Committee, Nairobi.
Among the main goals of the station is to provide an alternative viewpoint for the Muslim community, promote a better understanding of Islam among Muslims and non-Muslims as well as clearing the widespread stereotypes and misinformation which have a drastic effect of increasing Islamophobia.
Horizon Television will serve the broader spectrum of the Muslim community by airing a wide range of exciting programming catering to all sectors of the community.
