VTV9 is a national general-purpose television channel aimed at viewers all over the southern region, located in the system of 9 television channels broadcasting by Vietnam Television. The VTV9 channel is broadcast daily with 24 hours daily, with rich content including news, sports, entertainment programs based on the material and tastes of the audience in the South.
VTV9 is broadcasted free-of-charge on Vinasat-1 (K + band), terrestrial analog terrestrial television, terrestrial television (DVB-T2) at VTV locations. digital terrestrial television (VTVgo). On other paid television services, VTV9 is broadcasting code lock.
From 28/08/2015, VTV9 started broadcasting in high definition (HD) format on Vietnam Cable Television - VTVCab. So far, VTV9 HD has been distributed in many infrastructure and service providers: terrestrial digital television (DVB-T2), SCTV cable television, HanoiCab.
Total control of VTV9, Secretariat - Editorial VTV9 (under the editorial Secretariat - Vietnam Television) is located at the Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Signals from here are transmitted to Hanoi and from Hanoi broadcasting on different transmission infrastructures serving the country.
