The First Yaroslavsky TV channel is the only one of the TV companies of the Yaroslavl region that broadcasts in all media (on the air, including via satellites, cable networks, and the Internet) in the Russian Federation on the basis of a universal license.
The First Yaroslavsky TV channel was first aired on October 8, 2001 (at that time it was called NTM), with a modern name, it has been operating since September 2013.
"First Yaroslavsky" is the only TV channel in the Yaroslavl region working on its own programming. Broadcasts daily, 132.5 hours a week.
At least 75% of the TV channel’s broadcasts are of domestic production. “First Yaroslavsky” is a regional broadcaster of the Continental Hockey League, broadcasts all matches of the Lokomotiv team, volleyball matches of the Yaroslavich club, and the most important cultural events in the region.
The founder of the First Yaroslavsky TV channel is the State Autonomous Institution of the Yaroslavl Region Upper Volga Information Agency.
“First Yaroslavsky” by the decision of the Federal Competition Commission from February 1, 2017, is an obligatory public channel of the Yaroslavl region and is broadcast in the networks of all cable operators in our region (21 channels in cable networks) in all areas of the region.
Since September 2017, “First Yaroslavsky” has been broadcasting on the Tricolor satellite platform. In the regional package of this largest Russian operator of digital satellite television in our country, “First Yaroslavsky” is broadcast on Channel 23 to the entire European part of Russia, including the Republic of Crimea and the Kaliningrad Region.
