Etno TV is a popular music television station in Romania. Etno TV was launched by businessman Silviu Prigoană in 2002, the owner of Rosal company, which also owns Taraf TV.

Etno was the first TV station dedicated to popular music, which addresses a target between the ages of 16 and 70, with medium and high incomes.

The representatives of the station say that 70% of the audience is made up of people with medium and higher education, and over 46% of the viewers are from Bucharest and the big cities of the country (August 2007). The revenues from advertising are about 50,000 euros per month, and the sale of the broadcast spaces costs 500 euros plus VAT, for one hour of broadcasting (August 2007).

Etno TV had 22,000 viewers in the urban area per day, in the first six months of 2007. In January 2008, the television station had an average audience of 98,000 viewers per day (of which 41,000 in the urban area), is the one most watched music TV station.

In 2007, Etno TV had a turnover of 18 million euros and a profit of one million euros, the money coming exclusively from advertising.
