History - video Boesso story and video v33 story

Video 33 was born in 1986 on the initiative of commentator Rolando Valerio Boesso. The first name of the channel was "Videobolzano Canale 33". He began broadcasting from a garage on Via Tahler to San Giacomo, radiating the signal with a repeater that "illuminated" the city of Bolzano alone. The first TV news initially recorded, began to be made from that damp basement.

From the beginning two editions of the Tg were produced, one at 1.15 pm and another at 7.30 pm, which remained the historical informative appointments of the broadcaster that, a few years later, thanks to the farsightedness of its publisher, the commentator Boesso, began to arrange new repeaters to broadcast its programs also in Merano and Bressanone.

Hence the decision to transform the name from "Videobolzano channel 33" to "Video33", to give the broadcaster a more provincial and less urban connotation. At the beginning of the 1990s the passage to the headquarters in Via Cesare Battisti 10 in Bolzano, with the creation of a new study for the news bulletin, a studio that remained operational until August 2011.

In 2008, shortly before the death of Commendatore Boesso, the issuer is bought by a consortium of South Tyrolean entrepreneurs, led by the Pustertal Franz Senfter. Today Video33 represents the television of South Tyrol, of which the publishing company is Rosengarten Srl, led by Dr. Andreas Pfeifhofer.

To keep up with the times, the Rosengarten Srl has broadened its fronts, equipping the TV with a site updated in real-time, which allows users to follow the live channel. Not to be forgotten Sdf, the first German-language broadcaster in the mother who made her debut in 2009 with the advent of digital terrestrial.
