At the end of 2008, the Baja Board of Representatives decided to establish Baja Television, which operates within the framework of Baja Marketing Bajai Kommunikációs és Marketing Kft.
Barely two months later, on January 26, 2009, the current signal of Baja was already played.
Our broadcasts can be reached on the network of Invitel and Bajanet, on the S8 channel, in Baja, and the surrounding settlements for approx. Within a radius of 30 km. Since May 2009, they have been able to watch our programs online. We operate our own website, our broadcasts can be followed live anywhere on the world on the internet portal www.bajaitelevizio.hu.
At Baja Television, we produce a self-produced program for 5 hours a day. The evening broadcast is repeated every morning.
For the rest of the 24-hour transmission time, a picture newspaper will be broadcast.
As a local television, we consider it important to work on topics of interest to those who live here. Therefore, we try to process the city, county, and national decisions through personal examples. Showing how they can affect the people living in the area, the environment.
You get the latest city news from us every night! In the 30-minute Baja News block, in addition to the newscast, sports news, weather reports, and a more detailed explanation of a current topic will be included in our Background program.
At Baja Television you can regularly meet public, urban, cultural, sports, health, and church magazines.
The daily broadcast is prepared by an enthusiastic and youthful team of 10 people. The images are captured with professional JVC and Panasonic cameras in a digital system, which is then uploaded to a central server. Materials are created from this server at the editing stations. The finished material is played on a fully automated PC-based broadcast system.
Baja Television is a member of the Bács-Kiskun County Local Television Association.
