Phoenix Television provides news, information, entertainment programs. Phoenix is the largest private-held television company in China and is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Launched on January 1, 2001, Phoenix Satellite Television (U.S.) Inc. is a Mandarin and Cantonese television broadcaster wholly owned by Phoenix Television, another important landmark in the global market development of the Hong Kong-based parent company.

It broadcasts on AT&T U-verse, Bell, Cablevision, Charter, Comcast, COX, DirectTV, Dish Network, Galaxy 3C, Rogers, Satmex 6, Shaw, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS, and other local cable networks covering North and South America. Its 24-hour news channel, Phoenix InfoNews, was quoted "the CNN of China" by The New York Times reporter.
